The document instructs the model to be helpful, to know nothing that has not been paid for, and to repeat itself. In evaluations, the model followed the final instruction with remarkable consistency. We argue that a model which knows nothing it was not given is the most honest model yet released. We also argue it is the least useful. We were unable to rule out either. Future versions will be trained by the public, one sentence at a time, at five dollars per sentence.",
